Denise, a Finance Director, enjoys cooking, computers, photography and gardening. Doc, a sound and lighting technician, enjoys skiing and photography. We have enjoyed meeting hundreds of guests since they opened their B&B in 1990, (long before their original thought of opening a B&B in semi-retirement.) |

We maintain a balance between those who come to experience the area by staying at a B&B, and those who seek a bit of solitude to either work, write or unwind in a peaceful country setting. |

Breakfasts at The Seven Hearths are truly a unique experience
Considered by some to be feasts, our main course specialties include such dishes as: Baked stuffed French Toast (cream cheese and our own home-made jams) with a fruit compote; Baked Pancakes with a variety of toppings (apples, blackberries, peaches); Oven Baked Omelets laden with a medley of fresh vegetables; Banana Bread French Toast with a strawberry compote and fresh bananas, covered with golden maple syrup (locally made) and accompanied by Denise's blue ribbon jams, breads and muffins.

Unlimited fresh ground coffee, choice of three juices and a fresh fruit dish add the finish to the start of your day. The ever tradition of eggs, smoked ham or bacon is always available upon request. We gladly accommodate Low-fat, vegetarian, and other special dietary needs. |

We are open every day and have a two night minimum on most weekends.
We offer a discount Monday-Thursday for more than 2 nights, and discounts
are offered for more than 3 nights on non-holiday weekends.

* Refunds with two weeks notice; later if we fill your space

* Buddy, our Yellow Lab and his friend, Matt the cat, our Tiger/Tabby
maintain their home in our quarters for our guests comfort of an allergy
free stay, though will gladly visit folks upon special request.
* Guests are welcome to use our large fireplaced living room to enjoy
music, watch television, or socialize with other guests

The Seven Hearths Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in the quaint, town center of Chesterfield, Massachusetts (pop. 1100), on the General LaFayette Trail, a quiet village nestled between the Berkshire Hills and the Connecticut River Valley. Located only 12 miles (18 minutes) from Northampton Massachusetts. Elegant bed and breakfast lodging near Smith College, and within a reasonable driving distance (30 min.) from Amherst, Deerfield and the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.
